Key Attributes of X-WAVE Braided Technology
Optimization of Elasticity and Torsional Resilience
Made of high-elasticity carbon fiber from tip to butt using X-WAVE’s seamless braiding method. Even when bent or twisted, the interaction of braided carbon fibers produces a solid restoring force, precisely realigning the clubface to the swing path at the moment of impact.
Maintains Clubhead Direction and Uniformity
The X-WAVE shaft maintains consistent head alignment throughout the swing—even with variable swing speeds—ensuring the golf ball flies in the intended direction.
Minimized Impact to the Body
Braided carbon fiber construction absorbs and disperses shock at impact, reducing vibration and minimizing strain on the golfer’s body.
Braided Technology vs Prepreg Sheet Shafts
Manufacturing technology Innovation
-
Seamless braiding of high-modulus carbon fiber
-
Double-structure shaft for 360° elasticity and resilience
-
Custom braiding density and direction for fine-tuned performance
-
Elastic support across all swing speeds and directions
Shortcomings of Conventional PREPREG SHEET Shafts
-
Lead Deflection, Toe Down, and Torque misalignments
-
Limitations with diagonal fiber orientation
-
Inconsistency at variable swing speeds
-
Summary of alternative compensatory technologies
Swing Robot Comparison Test
-
Conventional rolling shaft vs. X-WAVE shaft at 88 → 100 mph
-
Results: Superior face angle stability, dispersion control, and distance consistency
Additional Notes & Recommendations
-
Please note that the shaft does not include an adapter or grip. For installation, please contact a professional golf fitting store near you.
-
If you need to adjust the length of the shaft, we recommend cutting from the butt end, not the tip, to maintain optimal performance characteristics.
WOOD Fitting Guidance
-
For wood shaft fitting, we recommend cutting only a half inch of the parallel tip section (i.e., 12.7 mm), and using a one-step stiffer shaft for best launch and stability.
Example: If you normally use 5S, we suggest using 6S for your wood.
-
Recommended playing length with the head and the grip installed : 45.5 inches ( 45 inches for 3A flex recommend)
X-WAVE shafts offer exceptional accuracy, stability, and distance. The advanced braiding technology overcomes the inconsistencies of rolling construction, providing a highly adaptable and consistent shaft for all golfers

Robot Testing – Consistency Comparison

-
Whether golfers swing with a soft, controlled motion or a fast, aggressive tempo, the X-WAVE shaft adapts dynamically. Its elasticity and torque control help players achieve optimal launch, carry distance, and impact feedback.
