My 6X is fantastic. Really looking at replacing the adapter on it with a new Cobra adapter and laying into the DS Adapt LS.
Have to imagine it is will be a perfect combination.

I let my son who is 37 and has a really smooth swing play the
XW last week. He's been playing a GD shaft (can't remember which one) in a PXG Gen 5 head at 10*. His normal ball flight is low trajectory with a baby cut, hits it all day long. He probably averages around 275 off the tee.
From the first tee to the last tee he was consistently 10 yards longer and still hitting the baby cut. But even better for him his ball flight went from low to a really nice mid-trajectory flight.
Don't think I'll be getting this back from him.

Thave been a long time lurker here but never really posted. I recently got the X-Wave 5S in my hands and threw a Taylormade tip on and plugged it in my Qi10 g* core head set 1 notch lower. I hit it about 30 times in a simulator but I just couldn't figure out the timing and was hitting it all over the face. Hit it again for a few days in the simulator and really started to figure it out with the X-Wave. With trackman, I have hit some of my best drives ever with the X-Wave along with my fastest ball speeds. I was able to hit my typical left to right fade without worrying about missing it left too much. I have definitely been impressed.
It's interesting that some have said it feels stout but I initially thought it felt very soft in the 5S. It seemed much softer than my gamer which is the Diamana GT 40X. My driver SS is around 95-98mph so the GT feels a bit boardy at times so the
"softer" X-Wave is nice change while still being stable.
Some were saying they may need the 5S. I was thinking I may need the 6S lol. I am definitely excited to take it on the course, hopefully in the near future!
